The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) is confirming that the transport storage and communications sector and the financial sector were the only two that recorded growth during the third quarter of 2024 when compared with the similar period in 2023.
The output of the transport storage and communication sector increased by 2.5%, while the finance and insurance services sector climbed by 0.8%.
The output of all other sectors declined during the period.
