Virgin Atlantic increases flights out of London

There is some good news for Jamaica's tourism industry which is grappling with a major downturn in the international travel market.

Virgin Atlantic is increasing the frequency of flights from London's Gatwick Airport to Montego Bay for the 2009/2010 winter season.

After the successful launch ofits twice-weekly service between Gatwick and Montego Bay, the airline will now be adding a third weekly service, on Fridays between November 13, 2009 and March 19, 2010.

Virgin Atlantic cashed in on the London-Montego Bay route after Air Jamaica pulled out of the UK market.
