Local digital menu platform VisuEats Jamaica has been officially launched.
The local start up allows restaurant and quick service establishments to add their menu with visual representations of the food.
Chief Business Development Officer at VisuEats Tanesha Westcarr said the US$250,000 investment already has 30 restaurants signed up and is averaging 800 downloads in each iteration.
Sophronia McKenzie, CEO of VisuEats, said the company is planning to expand to the region and overseas.
"We're going to be rolling out delivery. We're also going to be rolling out payment processing," she revealed.
Ms McKenzie said the company plans to launch in South Florida in the fourth quarter of this year, and projects that in five years it will have $30 million in revenue and be listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
