Carnival fever is in the air and the bacchanal team is making sure everyone wants to be a part of its road march.
The organisers of Bacchanal Jamaica revealed the costumes at the launch of the 2011 carnival season at the Knutsford Court Hotel Thursday night.
This year's theme theme is 'Once Upon A Dynasty'.
According to Michael Ammar Jr, head honcho for Bacchanal Jamaica, this represents the greatness of historical kingdoms, legends and dynasties.
The nine costume sections unveiled Thursday night reflect the theme and are a combination of bright colours and warm earth tones.
The costume parade was definitely the highlight of the night for many, as guests got the chance to see them up close.
They include Shangri La, Ming Dynasty and Avalon.
The first weekly event for the season starts on February 18.
The 2011 events calendar includes Soca-cise which begins on February 28; Beach J'Ouvert on April 23; Soca at the Sandbar on April 27, and Bacchanal J'Ouvert on April 29.
And Bacchanal Road March is set for Sunday, May 1.
