The Ministry of Health is reporting twelve more COVID-19 related deaths in Jamaica.
This has pushed the death toll from the virus to 2,720.
Six of the latest fatalities occurred in St. Elizabeth, two in Trelawny, while St. James, Westmoreland, Clarendon and Manchester each had one.
Three more deaths are being investigated by the Health Ministry.
Another 143 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed on Thursday from 1,564 samples.
The positivity rate is now 17.6 per cent.
