18 year old football player shot and killed

Cavaliers Football Club player, 18-year-old Omar Laing, was shot and killed at the intersection of Orange and Charles Streets yesterday afternoon.

It's reported that about 6 o'clock, the teenager was walking home for his birthday party when  men in a passing motorcar shot him.

He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
