The Ministry of Education says about 33,000 students sat the recent Primary Exit Profile (PEP) Ability Test.
During a townhall meeting on Friday afternoon, Education Minister Fayval Williams said the ministry will soon release further information regarding the examinations, but suggested the results will be released before August.
She said the scripts are now being checked and graded.
"We will let you know very soon about the release date, what the weightings of the scores are to be. We're doing that analysis right now," she revealed.
The PEP Ability Test was held on May 26.
The ministry had said 37,179 students were registered to sit the exam.
