A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the Craig Town, Jones Town and Admiral Town, lower St. Andrew.
The curfew in Craig Town starts at the intersection of Beresford Street and Benbow Street. It will continue along an imaginary line to Slipe Pen Road onto Gordon Road; from Gordon Road along an imaginary line to Pouyatt Street and Brynes Street to Penn Street.
The other boundaries are: North along Greenwich Park Road from the Western end of the Calvary Cemetery onto Lyndhurst Road, to Studio One Boulevard; East along Slipe Pen Road from Studio One Boulevard to Asquith Street.
The curfew expires tomorrow.
It comes on the heels of the fatal shooting of a 61 year old man on Sunday.
Vincent Lyons, otherwise called McCalla, who operated a bar on Madden Street, was killed about 8:00 p.m., at the intersection of Baker Street and Madden Street.
