The National Works Agency says 95% of roads blocked following Hurricane Beryl have been reopened to at least single-lane access.
Communication Manager at the NWA, Stephen Shaw, says the agency received reports of 476 road sections impacted by the storm.
Mr Shaw says Hanover, Clarendon, and St Andrew still have inaccessible thoroughfares, however, they are working to have the roads fixed as soon as possible.
Mr Shaw says once the clearing of roadways is completed, the NWA will conduct an assessment of the structural integrity of bridges and other road infrastructure.
"We will be inspecting our bridges to ensure that there isn't anything that is not visible to persons just passing by. We will also be checking on the piers to see whether or not there is any damage," he said.
He was speaking at a press conference on the progress of work done to clear roads blocked by Hurricane Beryl.
