All courts closed today due to Tropical Storm Rafael

All courts across Jamaica have been closed for Tuesday due to the passage of Tropical Storm Rafael.
 
This was confirmed in a release by The Judiciary of Jamaica, in a statement released to the media. 
 
Cases scheduled for today will be rescheduled, with details regarding new dates provided "as soon as possible," the statement added.
 
It added that, "barring further impact from the storm, courts will reopen and resume regular operations tomorrow, Wednesday, November 6, 2024."
