Alphansus Davis High board to probe claim two students given alcohol, drug by teacher

The Principal of Alphansus Davis High, the Clarendon school at which two female students were allegedly given alcohol and the drug molly by a male teacher last Friday, says the board is to meet later this week to discuss the allegations.
 
Radio Jamaica News was informed that one of the girls, who are both believed to be 14 years old, became unresponsive after consuming the drugs and alcohol.
 
They were taken to Percy Junior Hospital for treatment.
 
The principal, who spoke to Radio Jamaica News on Tuesday morning, said the police visited the school in Spalding on Friday and started preliminary investigations.
 
He said a meeting was held Monday involving the students, their parents and the teacher named.
 
The principal said the girls gave their accounts of what transpired and were asked to give written reports.
 
The parents of the students were also asked by the police to submit reports.
 
The principal said the school board will examine the information received and make a decision.
