Ancillary workers at Braeton Primary and Infant School restive over compensation issues

Ancillary workers at Braeton Primary & Infant School in Portmore, St Catherine are upset about the failure of the government to address the issue of their pay.

The issue came to light last year when Radio Jamaica News reported that the workers had expressed frustration over inconsistency in their salaries for several months.

At that time the workers complained that their salaries had been delayed and sometimes below the required amount due to them.

Ancilliary worker Camille Wilson now says the inconsistent pay has made it difficult to provide for her family.

Another employee, Sasha Frankson, told Radio Jamaica News the situation has been stressful for her.
