Another escapee from Barnett Street lock-up fatally shot by police

Another escapee from the Barnett Street lock-up in St. James, has been fatally shot by the police.
 
Tyrese Brown was shot dead on Thursday afternoon during a reported confrontation with the police in Trelawny.
 
Brown, a resident of Albert Town, Trelawny, was awaiting trial when he and four other prisoners escaped from the Barnett Street police lock-up on December 14.
 
He was charged with murder and rape.
 
Another escapee, Edgar Spence, was fatally shot by the police hours after the jail-break.
 
A third escapee, Tidel Ferguson, was recaptured on Sunday when he was seen in the Spot Valley community with a bullet wound to the leg.
 
The other prisoners, Daniel McIntosh and Maurice Belnavis, remain at-large.
