Autopsy on bitten baby shows head trauma

An autopsy which was done on the body of two-month-old Rihanna Anderson, who was allegedly bitten to death, has now revealed that she died from a blow to the back of the head.

A source at the Spanish Town police station told our correspondent that investigators will be visiting Irish Pen where the infant lived as they plan to collect statements from the families involved in the case.

Once the investigation is completed, the matter will be sent to Coronor's court for trial.

Last month it was reported that the baby's mother was at home when she was alerted by a relative that something was wrong with the infant.

Rihanna was rushed to the hospital where she was examined and pronounced dead.

It was then alleged that a four year old girl was responsible for the death of the child.
