JN Bank has launched its JN Pay Wallet, which allows users to access the central bank's digital currency, JAM-DEX.
Ricardo Dystant, Chief of Branches and Digital Channels at JN Bank, says the wallet is in keeping with JN Bank's efforts to eliminate barriers to financial inclusion, as it does not require users to have a bank account.
"You can pay bills, to phone top up. You can also do transaction with other individuals, whether they are using a JN Pay Wallet or another provider wallet. And more importantly, if you think about the small businessman that is on the road, you know, it's is a safe way, you don't have to carry the physical cash. It's best if you encourage your clients to download a wallet of their choice and they can transfer money to you as well," Mr. Distant advised.
