BA flight diverted after passenger falls ill

A British Airways flight from Jamaica to London had to divert to Bermuda on Tuesday night after a passenger fell seriously ill.

The female passenger became sick, and was unconscious when emergency medical technicans arrived to render assistance.

A British Airways spokesperson confirmed that a passenger fell ill on flight BA 2262 en route from Kingston to London.

The flight was diverted to Bermuda; landing at 11.27 Tuesday night and the passenger taken to a hospital.

The flight was then refueled and continued its journey to London an hour later.
