Bail extended for former WIPL director John Levy and wife

Former director of West Indies Petroleum Limited (WIPL), John Levy, and his wife Donna had their bail extended when they appeared before the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on fraud charges Thursday.
 
They are to return to court on March 22. 
 
When the matter was called up on Thursday morning, the court was told that the case file is incomplete. 
 
Mr. Levy has been charged with fraud, conspiracy to defraud, simply larceny and creating public mischief. 
 
His wife is charged with conspiracy to defraud and receiving stolen property. 
 
The charges relate to the transfer of a motor vehicle which reportedly belonged to a subsidiary of West Indies Petroleum. 
 
Mr. Levy was removed from the company's board last year.
