BBC honours National Hero Paul Bogle

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), on Tuesday, unveiled a Plaque in honour of National Hero Paul Bogle and persons abused or killed in the reprisals which followed the Morant Bay Rebellion in 1865.
     
The Plaque was unveiled by Historian and BBC'S Presenter David Olusoga, during at a Ceremony held at Stony Gut in St. Thomas. 
     
This was in recognition of the contribution of persons of African descent to the British society. 
    
The Ceremony forms part of a series called the Black History of Britain and was held under the theme: Remembering Morant Bay and Stony Gut.
