Bodies found in Seaview Gardens

The bodies of two of the members of a family from Sandy Park, whose house collapsed into the Sandy gully in St. Andrew on Tuesday, were on Friday morning fished from waters close to Seaview Gardens.

The Marine Police were in the area up to two hours ago where they reportedly fished the body of a woman from the sea near Wherry Wharf.

This was after residents earlier called the police about the body of a man floating in waters near their homes.

Huge crowds gathered on West Road, Seaview Gardens on Friday morning as residents discovered the body washed up near the shore line in their community.

They say several persons saw a large object floating in the water from before 9 o'clock Friday morning and ventured closer only to discover the man's body.

At that time the residents say fishermen went out early Friday morning and saw the body of the woman further away from where the man's body was found.

One resident claims he saw a man's body since Thursday evening and called the police, however his calls were ignored.
