Two men have been charged in connection with the seizure of 81 rounds of ammunition in a section of Tivoli Gardens in Kingston on Saturday.
Thirty-one-year-old Jhamaal Reid, of Chang Avenue in Tivoli Gardens, and 31-year-old Romar Brown, of Burlington Avenue, Kingston 10, have been charged with several offences.
They are charged with a possession of prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, dealing in trafficking and stockpiling prohibited weapon.
A date is to be set for them to appear in court.
It's reported that officers assigned to the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigations Branch (C-TOC) were on operation when a grey Mazda Demio was stopped and searched on Sangster Crescent.
