Police have discovered a body believed to be that of a St. Catherine businessman who had been missing for about two weeks.
The body was found in a shallow grave in Thetford, Old Harbour, St. Catherine, on Thursday.
It's believed that the body is that of 43-year-old Humphrey Brown, a contractor of Willodene, Spanish Town, St. Catherine, who has been missing since July 11.
It's reported that Brown received a phone call and left home in his motorcar, shortly before midnight.
He has not been seen since.
A major breakthrough came Wednesday when the police found his vehicle in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
Two men were taken into custody, and during questioning they reportedly led investigators to the location where the body was buried.
Investigators believe the suspects stole the victim's bank card and made daily withdrawals from his account following his disappearance.
More than $2 million was removed from the account.
