A decomposing body was removed from the Rio Minho in
Clarendon Sunday afternoon.
The body is that of 33-year-old Patrick Thompson of Pennant Terrace, Kingston 19.
CCN Liaison Officer for Clarendon, Constable Camay Watson, says the police were alerted to the scene shortly after 11 o'clock Sunday morning.
"About 11:40 today, the police were summoned to an area off the Bustamante Highway where a body was seen in the Rio Minho River. Closer inspection revealed both hands and feet bound. Strangulation is also suspected by the police. Watson was last seen on Wednesday the 29th of August. He left home to convey staff members to the Burger King restaurant at the Norman Manley International Airport and had not been seen since," said Constable Watson.
