Dehring confirms no discussions held at ICC Conference about two-tier test system

Voice of CWI CEO Chris Dehring

Cricket West Indies CEO, Chris Dehring has confirmed that there were no discussions about a two-tier test system at the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Annual General Conference in Singapore from July 17-20.

While the West Indies were being routed for a historic test low of 27 all out at Sabina Park, a July 20 article in the UK Guardian said the ISS had set up a working group to explore moving to a system of two-division test cricket. Dehring was speaking on The Mason and Guest Show in Barbados last week.
