Sections of the Bog Walk Gorge were inundated by the Rio Cobre on Tuesday following heavy rains.
The Bog Walk Gorge in St. Catherine remains closed.
The water from the Rio Cobre, which inundated sections of the road, have receded.
Officials from the National Works Agency (NWA) are clearing the road of debris.
