The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is yet to rule  on their investigation into allegations that Mount Pleasant FA used ineligible players and surpassed the quota set by the federation for the number of overseas internationals that can registered to the team for a premier league matches at any one time.

The allegations were raised in a 16 page document obtained by Radio Jamaica Sports, which was sent by Jamaica Premier League (JPL) champions Cavalier FC to chairman of the JFF's Competitions Committee, Gregory Daley.

Up to sports time, it was unclear whether the JFF's Competitions Committee had its planned meeting to ventilate the matter which was scheduled for Thursday.

The Premier League leaders Mount Pleasant FA are facing the possibility of sanctions related to both allegations which involve their last six games. These sanctions could include a fine and a deduction of points. The letter stated that Mount Pleasant FA registered three players outside of the January transfer window.

Two of those players represented their former club Real Hope of Haiti in February during the CONCACAF Champions Cup before travelling to Jamaica to represent Mount Pleasant in the Premier League.

According to Radio Jamaica Sports Sources, the Haitian players - Angelo Exilus and Jeudy Jhonson, could also face disciplinary action from the JFF.

Should Mount Pleasant be found guilty of the breaches, they could face a 15-point deduction, having won five of the six games in question.
