Cameroon national and Jamaican plead guilty to fraud

A Cameroon national and a Jamaican who were charged earlier this year for trying to defraud a Kingston businessman were sentenced to 18 months hard labour on Friday

Steeve Logmo and David Gregory, who is from St. Thomas, were sentenced a day after pleading guilty in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court. 
     
On January 20, the men were arrested at a Kingston hotel after they conspired to fleece a businessman of  more than US$100-thousand .
The businessman became suspicious and reported the matter to the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Branch.
