The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency says it is still awaiting an official death toll from the passage of Hurricane Beryl through the Windward Islands.
CDEMA executive director Elizabeth Riley says while the international media may be providing figures regarding the number of deaths in St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Grenada, no official report has been provided.
Miss Riley said both countries have indicated that while they will accept cash donations to help in the reconstruction exercise, they have issued a needs list urging donors to provide specific items.
