The Jamaica Olympic Association has now confirmed that Jamaica will be sending a 159 member delegation to participate in 11 sporting disciplines at the 20th Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland from July 23 to August 3.
According to JOA president Mike Fennell "Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce are listed among a 67 member track and field team."
The other 47 athletes in the squad of 114 will compete in Swimming, badminton, shooting, boxing, Cycling, netball, gymnastics, table tennis, Triathlon and squash.
Double sprint world record holder Usain Bolt and reigning Olympic and World championship 100m gold medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce have both only been entered to compete in the 4x100m relays, after receiving medical exceptions to miss the Jamaica Senior Trials, staged from June 26 to 29.
