The Kingston & St Andrew Corporation has announced that, as part of mitigation efforts in the face of the coronavirus crisis, it will close Coronation Market in downtown Kingston Saturday evening for extensive cleaning and sanitation.
The market is scheduled to be reopened on Thursday.
The KSAMC said other markets in the Corporate Area will also be extensively cleaned and sanitised shortly.
Coronation Market is the largest produce market in Jamaica.
