Daryl Vaz, Member of Parliament for Portland West, has instructed his attorneys to write to People's National Party caretaker for the constituency Valerie Neita-Robertson demanding an apology for what he says are defamatory statements made on her Twitter account.
In the letter, Mr. Vaz demanded that the tweet be removed.
Additionally, Mr. Vaz wants Mrs Neita Robertson to pay damages and legal fees incurred to date.
The letter sent by Mr. Vaz's attorneys indicates that they were instructed to proceed to take action to protect his reputation if Mrs Neita-Robertson fails to fulfill the demands.
