A teenager is dead and another is on the run following a
stabbing incident in Mitcham, St. Elizabeth early Thursday morning.
According to the police, just after midnight 16-year-old Christopher Powell and 18-year-old Shadar Farguarson got into an argument which escalated into a fight.
Christopher was reportedly stabbed repeatedly and was rushed to hospital with multiple injuries.
He succumbed to his injuries just before six o'clock Thursday morning.
The police are seeking Shadar Farguarson in connection with the incident.
Shadar is from Portland and the police say they suspect he may have fled there.
Persons who know where he is are urged to encourage him to turn himself in.
