Tourist arrivals in the Dominican Republic are expected to exceed 7 million, which will mark the highest arrival in the history of that country's tourism.
Officials say the Dominican Republic has had a full recovery, and earlier this month reached more than 644,000 tourist arrivals in June, a record for that month.
Data released by the Ministry of Tourism indicate that the country has managed to attract more than 3.5 million tourists in the first half of 2022.
Officials say the all-inclusive model has been an important factor in the recovery of the sector after the pandemic in the Dominican Republic.
