A 4.6 magnitude earthquake shook sections of Jamaica Sunday afternoon.
That's a significant upgrade from the preliminary estimate which had put its strength at magnitude 3.3
The Earthquake Unit says the tremor with a focal depth of 23.1 kilometre was felt in St Catherine and Kingston and St Andrew.
The epicentre was located approximately 4 kilometre east of Angels in St Catherine.
RJR News did receive calls however from persons living as far west as St Elizabeth about the tremor.
