Elderly man and teen boy drown in separate Manchester incidents

The Manchester Police are probing the suspected drowning of two people in separate incidents in the parish on Monday. 
 
The police have identified the victims as 76-year-old Edwin Ellis of Minor district, Manchester and 17-year-old Allando Segree, a student of Troy High School in Trelawny and a resident of Craighead in Manchester.
 
Segree was reportedly swimming in the Craighead River about 2 p.m. when he got into difficulty and drowned. 
 
Meanwhile, Ellis' body was observed about 11:08 a.m. floating in a pond in Dykes Hill district, Spalding. 
 
The Christiana and the Spalding police are investigating.
