The Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF, has projected that several vacancies will be created in its senior ranks because of the high number of persons scheduled to retire during the course of the year.
The announcement was made in the latest issue of the Police Force Orders.
It shows the expected vacancies will include 10 Assistant Commissioners.
There are approximately 22 posts for Senior Superintendents, 23 Superintendents, 29 Deputy Superintendents, 107 Inspectors, 95 Sergeants, and 97 Corporals.
