Granting of entertainment licence to be streamlined

A proposal has been presented to streamline the granting of  permits and extensions for persons holding entertainment events, who may otherwise find themselves in breach of  the Noise Abatement act.

The initiative was outlined on Tuesday by State Minister for  Entertainment, Damion Crawford. He explained that it will involve the setting up of  extension committees in each parish,

The committees will comprise six persons, including the police and a parish council representative.
