July 9 mention date for woman accused of killing cop husband

 
The murder case of Kasey-Ann Blair, the woman accused of killing her husband, Constable Damien Blair, is to be mentioned in court next Wednesday, July 9.
 
Constable Blair was killed in an alleged domestic dispute in Somerset, Manchester on May 29, 2023. 
 
Mrs. Blair, who was deemed fit to plead but has mental health challenges, is charged with murder, unauthorised possession of ammunition and unauthorised possession of firearm.
 
But when the matter was called up on Thursday, the court was told that the defence and the Crown are still having discussions. 
 
The Crown also requested further reports from the medical facility where Mrs. Blair had been receiving treatment to speak to her condition prior to and at the time of the incident.
 
Mrs. Blair is also represented by attorney Gnoj McDonald.
