2 medals for Jamaica so far at Junior CASA Championship

Jamaica bagged two individual medals at the end of the individual section of the Junior Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) Championships currently ongoing in the Cayman Islands.

Vice-captain Mehar Trehan took silver after losing by three games to two against Eboni Atherley in the final of the girls Under-19 match-up.
 
Captain Sanjana Nalapati won her bronze medal in straight sets 3-0 over Gabrielle Turchiaro. Elle Wilson, the other Under-19 girl in the championship, lost 3-0 to Milanna Lamontagne for the 6th place playoff.

Meanwhile, the boys have been having a challenging time so far in the championship with Under-15 player Ethan Miller being the best placed Jamaican. He ended 5th after his opponent Daniel Sealy retired hurt with the score at 1-1.
