The Ministry of Education says it does not expect any hitches in today's release of the Grade Six Achievement Test, GSAT, results.
The information will be available to schools starting midday.
More than 44 thousand students sat the examination in March.
They were tested in critical areas of the primary school curriculum, including: mathematics, language arts, science, social studies and communication tasks.
Education Minister Ronald Thwaites yesterday announced that there has been a significant improvement in the national average for each subject area in this year's sitting.
Describing the GSAT as the "apartheid of the education system", mr thwaites said “grow where you are planted; work with your child's school to make it better.”
