The Meteorological Service says Jamaica should begin experiencing heavy rainfall associated with the core of Hurricane Beryl within the next 3-4 hours.

Manager, Weather Services at the Met Office, Rohan Brown, told Radio Jamaica News that the Hurricane will hit Jamaica as a strong Category 4 system.
