There will be at least two names on the ballot for the North East St. Ann by-election on September 30.
An independent, David Anderson, was nominated on Wednesday morning at the Office of the Returning Officer, St. Ann North Eastern, located at 1 Wharf Street, St. Ann's Bay.
Matthew Samuda, representing the Jamaica Labour Party, is scheduled to be nominated about 1 o'clock.
The People's National Party has said it will not be participating in the by-election.
