An inmate has been charged with the stabbing death of a fellow inmate at St Catherine Adult Correctional Centre earlier this month.
Appolos Atkinson, 41, was charged with the January 17, murder of 32 year-old Jermaine Rogers.
It was earlier reported that there was a commotion at a section of the correctional facility, during which Rogers was stabbed in the chest with a sharp object.
Rogers was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
