A Jamaican man, who committed multiple robberies in The Bahamas in February 2022, was on Thursday sentenced to six years in prison as part of a plea deal.

Winston Walker pleaded guilty to three counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery.

Walker will be placed on probation for one year once he's released from prison.

He's liable to two years' imprisonment if he's convicted of any other offence while on probation.
