Changes are coming to the recruitment system of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).
A review of the recruiting system and methods is being carried out and as a result, police recruiting centres have been temporarily closed. A statement from the JCF says this is being done to make the recruitment process more prompt and efficient for applicants.
The revamped process will involve the introduction of a user-friendly, interactive online application system, speedy processing as well as scheduled entrance exams.
The recruiting process is suspended until May 4 when recruitment centres will reopen
