Member of Parliament for St. Catherine South Central, Dr. Andrew Wheatley, says the country is at a critical juncture in its development, and as a result, the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has not been campaigning on partisan politics.

Dr. Wheatley says the JLP's 'Choose Jamaica' slogan is representative of the party's belief in acting in the best interest of all Jamaicans, regardless of political affiliation.

"The Jamaica Labour Party is beyond politics, partisan politics. Our policies are not geared towards those who support the PNP or the JLP. Our policies are geared towards enhancing the lives of every single Jamaica. We are not about gimmicks. We are not about false promises. We are about what is in the best interest of our country. Whether you vote for us or not, it is Jamaica first," he declared.

Dr. Wheatley was speaking at a conference in the St. Catherine South Central constituency on Sunday.
