JLP's Annual Conference set for November 21-22.

The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has finalised the date for its annual conference after recently signaling that a new schedule was being considered amid indications that a general election will be called soon.

Dr. Horace Chang, JLP General Secretary, told RJR News that the Party has completed key arrangements for the conference this month. The National Arena has been booked for November 21-22.

"We are holding those dates, but it is also increasing our activities as the signals for the election appear to be quite strong," he said.

In keeping with those signals, he said the "a number of things are being done to ensure that our workers, our base, and our supporters are alerted, motivated and ready to ensure the election day victory."
