July trial date for brothers charged for rape of 5 females

The trial of the two brothers, charged for raping five females at Irwin Point in September 2012, will begin on July 22.     

The date was set on Monday when the matter was mentioned in the Montego Bay Gun Court.  Lambert Johnson, who is the attorney representing the men, said he would not disclose details about the case at this time.    

The men Sheldon and Errol Brissett, were charged in October with burglary, robbery with aggravation, rape, abduction, assault causing grievous bodily harm, and illegal possession of a firearm.     

They were charged, after they were pointed out on an identification parade.
The police report that the three girls  - 8,14 and16 and the two women ages 25 and 28, were dragged from their homes and taken to nearby bushes where they were repeatedly sexually assaulted.
