The Jamaica Gasoline Retailers Association (JGRA) says only a small number of its members will open during this weekend's lockdown.
On Thursday, Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie said gas stations will be permitted to operate to facilitate the essential services and authorised persons who are allowed to move about.
Only petroleum products should be sold.
However, JGRA President Dianne Parram says only a limited number of gas station will open as it would not have been "economically feasible" otherwise.
Energy Minister Daryl Vaz on Thursday gave details on the opening hours for gas stations.
He said they will be permitted to operate up to four hours later than the specified curfew hours.
"For example, if the curfew commences at 8:00 p.m., gas stations will be permitted to remain open until midnight," he explained.
If the curfew is 12 noon, they will be allowed to open until 4:00 p.m.
On no movement days, gas stations will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
