Man charged after being caught driving stolen motor vehicle

 
A 27-year-old Corporate Area man has been charged after he was allegedly caught driving a vehicle that was stolen in Portmore, St. Catherine.
 
Timothy Laughton, otherwise known as 'Timmy', of Chisholm Avenue in St. Andrew, was caught after he attempted to elude the police. 
 
He is charged with simple larceny. His court date is being finalised.
 
According to reports from the Hunts Bay Police, around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers from the St. Andrew South Division observed Mr. Laughton driving a black Subaru Impreza motor car along Spanish Town Road after they received a radio transmission informing them that it was stolen. 
 
The car was reported they stolen from Park Circle East in Passage Fort, Portmore, St. Catherine.
