A man was shot and killed in Gregory Park, Portmore St Catherine on Sunday.
He has been identified as 32 year old Sheldon Kevin Chambers - otherwise called Crocs - of 52 Stevens Avenue, Compound, Gregory Park.
Sometime before 5.00p.m., residents heard gunshots in the vicinity of Mr Chambers's home and called the police.
They later made checks and found Mr Chambers lying motionless on the ground close to the entrance of his house suffering from bullet wounds.
His common-law wife, who appeared to have fainted, was seen lying motionless beside him.
They were taken to hospital where Mr Chambers was pronounced dead.
His common-law-wife was examined and later released after she regained consciousness.
